E61 Usage Over Time?

I have only had my E61 a few weeks now and so far it has been perfect (once I discovered Web problems with TMO Hotspots and used Opera instead) - no random resets, great reception, etc. With all my previous WM5 devices I have noticed a gradual degradation in performance, an increase in random resets and just a general overall decrease in my satisfaction with the device over time. WM5 appears to "age" over time and in the end usually requires a hard reset to restore to the original performance.

For you longer term E61 owners: Do you have the same experiences with E61s or has it continued to be stable over a long period of time? Hate to get too excited and recommend this device to friends if trouble awaits me downstream.

Thanks for any info on your experiences,

Frank

i don't have the problem so far, only i found when heavy usage WLAN the phone some time reset. i also don't know why

The E61 has been fine for me, I've never had it reset or crash at all.

My previous S60 phone (which I bought in 2003) occasionally crashed and slowed down the more I used it, but the E61 is very stable indeed. I assume they've done a lot of work on S60 to get it really solid.

The thing I also like about the latest S60s is that they finally have support for updating the firmware yourself through the internet, so if you keep it up to date your S60 phone actually gets more stable with time. (This wasn't the case on older S60s, if you bought a phone with unstable firmware you had no way of getting it updated except for taking it to a service centre.)
