HELP about Nokia 7610 MMC!!!

Can SD-MMC used in Nokia 7610?? First of all i thought it onli can use RS-MMC but today i went to my handphone dealer and he said SD-MMC can be use in nokia 7610. Can anyone tell me does 7610 realli can use SD-MMC?? pls....i need these info quickly.😡

all i know... its CANT....

and try to go to memory card and detect if can.... :con?

Don't do it man! You can wreck both the card and the phone, the pin cofiguration is different.

but the phone dealer said that SD-MMC can be use on 7610...:con?

and then ask the phone dealer to give waranty....
if anything wrong..... :con?

You may do what you want. The best is like pangie said: ask him to give a written warranty for both phone and SD card.

Yea. the phone dealer gave me a lifetime warranty for both phone n SD-MMC

its brand is kingston n it is SD-MMC Dual Voltage(when u buy this MMC, kingston will give u a lifetime waranty)

What a mess... SD-MMC doesn�t exist. Or is an SD or is an MMC. MMC, yes, could be DV MMC. 7610 is compatible ONLY with rsMMC and rsDvMMC. Not possible to use with ANY SD card.

Guys, guys, hold on for a minute. I think smanlim was induced in error by the phone dealer which probably believes that SD means SanDisk instead of Secure Digital. If it is a MMC and not a SD, you can buy it, 7610 can work with normal, RS and RS-DV MMC's.
