Currently have a SE p910i which is coming onto 2 years old and now is misbehaving. ie strange error messages and not being able to back the phone up ( big problem treating it with kid gloves).
Sitched up by Orange and now unable to upgrade or leave Orange until August 07.
Need to get a phone which is not 3G due to sim issues. Does not need to be touch screen, good MP3 player , will use apps that I have on p910i as versions avialable for S60.
Any ideas? Does not need to be the latest S60 because will change when Orange contract finished.

No 3G! N72 or 3250 - the last one is already OS9.1 and have a great battery.
It shouldn't really matter if it's 3G or not, all 3G phones also contain GSM hardware which will automatically kick in if 3G can't be used for whatever reason.
You might want to check if there are apps that are particularly important to you, not all apps are released on both UIQ and S60. If you do get S60, make sure the app is available in a version that works on your phone, as the latest S60s (3rd Edition) aren't backwards compatible. Because 3rd Edition is so new, there aren't as many apps available as there are for 2nd and 1st edition, so it might be best to stick to 2nd Edition until you can leave Orange, by which time the 3rd Edition app scene should have improved greatly.
I suppose if you really do want to avoid 3G and make sure there's a wide existing range of software, go for the N72. It doesn't have 3G, it uses S60 2nd Edition so there's a lot of apps available for it right now, and it has a good MP3 player (mind you so do most S60s nowadays).
