Question about Gallery and Albums — Nokia N80 — All About Symbian Forum Archive

G'day...just recently picked up my N80 through a replacement program my provider has, and i wasn't sent a manual so im a bit stuck on some things.

I want to know how u can delete an image out of the gallery without deleting it from an album? I see little point in having the pic in an album, and also in the gallery, i dont need 2 pics of the same thing.

Also Is there anyway to make seperate folders inside of the gallery itsself and have them show up as a little thumbnail like the pics do... i want to organise all my pics, having them all just sitting there is a little bit messy!

Go to a Nokia Site and make the download on your language.

I believe that albums are a sub-set of Gallery and not the other way round. Therefore to be in an album, it needs to be in your Gallery.

I've jsut started using Resco's pic viewer, which is far more flexible and user friendly, and now don't bother with Gallery at all (except when wanting to put a pic as wallpaper, as thanks to stupid Symbian Signing, this isn't possible in Resco at present :frown: )
