water logged 6680

i by mistake put my 6680 to wash it was in water for about 20 mins for sure. i found it to be in a dead state, the flash was flashing bad... after 24 hours of drying it and all it works now but only in offline mode. when i put any sim card inside does not get reception at all. although cell info display shows the location but network does not come to life. what are my options to do and what does it need repairs or something please advise?

I think the only way is Nokia Service. Water and dusk are public enemies of phones:frown:

hi thanks nj7 but when the phone was dried my friend said he made a call with it. when i tried it failed. should i try to flash the phone ? i tried hard reset did not work. putting it for flash now when i get up in the morning i shall see. any more alternatives. ill sell the phone when it starts properly. time for a n73 i guess. please advise.....

I don't think there's anything you can do. At least one chip from the mainboard is busted, probably the RF one. You can try to take it to a NSC, but it would be better to get another one, if you can.
