Dear All, 😉 :icon13: :icon4: :con?

I have the following questions:

1. Can we change the firmware ourselves by using USB Cable or not? If yes, how?
2. Which one is the latest firmware prevailing right now? (I mean version.)
3. I have copied some funny SMS's from net and I want to place them in Cell Phone. How?
4. Can we place other radio bands like SW1, SW2, MW etc on our Cell?
5. Sometimes we install .sis files and they are installed properly (In the end of installation is shows "Tick' icon). But, since, they are not meant for this Cell Phone, they lie on the Cell Phone. How can we trace and remove them.

I would appreciate soonest response.

Best regard,

Creator.

1. Legally, nope
2. V 3.0505.2 if I'm not mistaken
3. You simply write them with the keypad
4. No - hardware cannot be addapted
5. What do you mean? Apps which are not running? App manager->Uninstal

Dear Thedrummervoice,

Thanks for your response. Here I have another question. Lets take an example of a PC, every latest Windows Version requires upgraded hardware. In case of a Cell Phone, does this theory apply?

Best regards,

Creator.

No, it doesn't. The firmware doesn't need a hardware upgrade, it is just an inproved softwre version in which some of the bugs are corrected.

Dear All,

From where, can we get the Firmware Software for Nokia 3230? Is it available on Net?

Best regards,

Creator.
