Blackberry on Non-Blackberry Handsets - Its a PAIN.

i've used a blackberry handset 8700 & 7100 for the last year or so & now i've tried to move t a Nokia & Sonyericsson handset and use blackberry connect on that.... ITS A PAIN.

at 1st it was excellant...but now since blackberry has moved to BIS 2.0, you have get indivisual mail boxes on your lackberry & non blackberry handset.
But blackberry handsets have 1 Comman INBOX as well, so you can hide all the indivisual maiboxes & all your mails automatically come into the comman INBOX.
I wish Nokia & Sonyericsson could do that.
Is there some way of filing your incomming emails into 1 comman folder. Can anyone help me with this problem.
Has anyone else faced this problem.

Its very irratating to check all your mailboxes to see which has a new email. Why cant the take a cue from Blackberry.

I hear you man.. I been talking to Nokia and Cingular. From Nokia at last. Inbox is only for text message and all your blackberry connect will be individual mail box. also no attachment viewing unless pop3 account.. go to my post on cingular forum

I found out that blackberry has 1.8, 2.0 and 2.1. this 2.1 is on my E62 and 7100 used to be on 2.0 I think or I could be wrong since never logged in when blackberry upgarded to 2.0. 2.1 may be different and I'm calling RIM on Monday to find out few other questions I had.

This is what i have finally figured out:
With Blackbrry moving to BES 2.0...

The following phones show Muliple Email Accounts & Seperate Inbox's...
E50
E60
E61
E62
P990i
M600i
P910i

The Following phones show all emails in a Single Consolidated Inbox...
Nokia 9300
Nokia 9500
Nokia 9300i

Please add your comments..

BTW - i'm still wondering why i can install the E50 BB Client n my N80 but not use it??
