N73 and BMW E46 3 Series Factory Fit Bluetooth

Has anyone got the N73 working properly in a BMW E46 3 series? I have the factory fit bluetooth and I can make and receive calls through the car controls but I cannot see the address book and I cannot see the text messages. I amn using the original firmware 2.0628.0.0.1

My earlier Nokia 6230 had this problem, but it was eventually fixed with a firmware upgrade.

Any experience guys?

Ok, I had the N73 flashed to V3.0638.0.0.1 dated 30 Oct 2006 but there is no improvement. Still no full pairing with my E46. I can receive calls but cannot make calls.

Also, the O2 meanies will not give me a duplicate SIM that I could keep in my 6230.

Has anyone got the N73 to work with the BMW E46?
