Q3 sales figures for EMA - Sony Ericsson on the up!

The very latest EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) sales figures for smart mobile devices are out. Full press release is below, highlights include Symbian OS's share now up to 78% of the market, with Nokia at a whopping 75%, although Sony Ericsson's UIQ 3 sales have at last started in earnest, with 3% and rising.

Rumour has it that SE have pre-order for 1 million P990s - probably as replacements for the P900/P910s. So we should expect the figures for UIQ for Q1 2007 to be very high once all three UIQ3 devices are released on all networks (the M600 is only just being released on Organge in the UK).
