:con? I`m hoping someone can help with a problem i`m having on my 7610?
In the messaging section on the phone it has a Mailbox Icon, which is obviously for email,i am on o2 pay as you talk and was wondering if i can use one of my email accounts as my email,i have a Hotmail account and also a Yahoo account but have tried to configuire my phone but to no success,i have been told that it is because they arent pop3??
So to solve this problem i opened a Bluebottle email account as this was POP3 and got the email settings sent to me via the Nokia website to configuire my phone for bluebottle but still no joy i cant read or retrieve my emails from this site???
Does anyone know what i am doing wrong or can suggest a free email account that i will be able to use on the Mailbox setting on the 7610 and is it POP3 or IMAP4 that i need to use for the Mailbox settings on the 7610????
Any help on this subject would really be greatly appreciated.:con?

Yes i have,i can access O2 active and all wap pages but just want the settings so i can short cut all this and just go straight to email via the Mailbox option in the messaging section of my phone!!!
Any ideas?

I never used the built in email client, but for Yahoo you can use Yahoo! Go. The trafic made by this app is really low.

u can use pop3 if u sign up for a gmail account. i also have a gmail account and im using it in my 7610 with no problems. but to make account at gmail u need an invitation from an exisitng member. so give me ur email and i will send u an invitation for signing up at gmail.
