1: If one copies a file that isn't recognised by the phone eg .bmp then where does it go? Can we use the phone to 'store' files or 'transport' files like I did with my SL45i? ie a portable 4MB Hardrive

2: What file types ARE recognised by the phone? I understand it's .mid .wav .jpg .amr .jar. jad .sis Anything else?

3: Does a polyphonic ring have an extention? ie .ppr or something downloadable? I notice that some rings on the phone end in .mid and others have no extention. Are the ones with no extension polyphonic, and the others midi? Does this mean they ARE different and polyphonic isn't mearly a midi file?

Thanks

Is it possible to assign an application to a file? Say .mid is assigned to a program. as .html is assigned to a browser. ???

It is possible with programming 😃

I see. I just wanted to know if you could just edit the file property of the file in order for the file to automatically be opened by an assigned application.
