I want a Symbian phone and found the recent All About Symbian Pub meet very useful however I can't find one that competes with the HTC Hermes also known as Orange M3100, T-Mobile MDA Vario II and the Vodafone Qtek HTC v1605.
I want a phone with web browser which to be effective I believe requires a Qwerty keyboard and 3G appears good for bandwidth. I'm used to having a camera included as both my previous phones, including the 7650, have. Voice dialling is now essential from my experience of the Motorola V635. I think Wi-Fi should prove useful. Bluetooth is essential for connecting to the Parrot in the car.
Perhaps if the E61 had a camera ... but the hidden keyboard of the Orange M3100 makes it less 'Blackberry person'.

E70 as N/A said or if you want to wait, there are rumors about pretty cool new communicators coming:
"The new Communicator will be S60 3rd Edition (3.1 precisely) based. The internal screen will be VERY HUGE, and the external screen will be S60 as well - thanks to S60 3rd Edition's scalable UI. The keyboard will be large and comfortable, too."

It's definitely worth checking out the E70.
I find the keyboard far superior to the "Blackberry style" keyboard on other devices - and you don't have to look like a geek when using the phone in candybar mode.
Whatever Nokia tells you, the MDC-13L cradle fits the E70

Thanks Terry. I missed the opportunity to look at the E70 at the AAS pub meet however I've researched it all again.
I realise the the HTC Hermes doesn't have the same number of colours or Pixels as the E70' screen, but it does have a bigger screen which is an asset with my eyesight. Also it looks more sophisticated than the E70 when using the Qwerty keyboard.
Looks like, reluctantly, I'll be going for a Windows phone😮
