Sometimes, I want to shout at MS Fanboys! Sometimes, I just wanna say "Look! There are alternatives!".
They think the sun shines out of Microsoft's bottie. They honestly think that the best bet for innovation in IT is for Microsoft to wipe out all competition. If something isn't a PocketPC, it's crap, end of argument.
Sure, Windows is great, I really think it is good, but there are those who think that Microsoft can do no wrong and everything Microsoft touches turns to gold.
These people attack those who want to take MS to court because they (SUN etc) need to grow up and fight like men in the marketplace, but then they say that it is reasonable for Microsoft to steal names and addresses off of a company that produces 'Lindows' because they fear people will get confused between Lindows and Windows.
Are these people blind!? Are these people stupid!?
Nobody is perfect. We've read on this site how Nokia has stuffed some people up, but at least the rest of the posters here don't have the attitude that Nokia is right, no matter what.

I am a great respecter of Microsoft and what they have achieved. They've done us all a big favour by making software on the dektop PC uniform to the extent that anyone with moderate PC skills can sit down and use any computer (look at how the GUI of the Linux (KDE) is very similar in feel to the Windows concept). I also think they produce some great software - ou dont achieve dominance without good software. What I dont like is they way they've done it (a contradiction perhaps!). There bullying tactics are wrong and they dont need to do them. Tanker is absolutely right about the idiocy of the fanboys.
I a big Symbian supporter not because they aren't microsoft but because there product is the best IMHo, the reason - is actually desinged for what it is used for and isn;t hampered by the considerations of fitting with a desktop OS.

The point is they made it sucessful, they were lucky to some etxent, but there is some skill in stealing others idea.
There is some skill, and a large amount of Monopoly in doing so, or by now half the world would be running BeOS instead. But no thanks to the monopoly of M$ Be are in the hands of the d*cks at palm. Whatever will become of the world.

I agree with those who appreciate what MS has done for computing. I wouldn't like to have had to teach my parents to use Linux!
The target of my scorn wasn't Microsoft but those who worship Microsoft and think that unless Microsoft made it, it's pants!
It's these who need a slap for being a little thick, not Microsoft, which is a company that's doing what any company would do in its position.
Mandrake Linux 8.1, easier to install than Windoze XP. But then XP hates everything that want's to use it's own driver hee hee, piece of trash. Anyone else noticed that attempts to make Windoze more user friendly, has infact made it more awkward as half the options have dissappeared. Took half hour to setup networking on my mates XP laptop when it'll only take 10 minutes to get it to work on 98. (5 Minutes in BeOS 
)
My attitude is when M$ release software to laugh at everyone struggling with the lack of security and it's instability. But then I'm EVIL!!!!

Sorry did they completely miss everything done by Psion, Atari, and erm... Palm are about it really. M$ were laughed at because WinCE was crap, and the new PocketDoze needs a more powerful palmtop than my desktop is..
