E70 Volume Problem

2 replies · 1,813 views · Started 27 October 2006

I updated with new firmware through Nokia homepage. Since then, my volume listening to music is MUCH lower. The current firmware seems to be very bad.

Nokia support (email and telephone) says that there is nothing to do - only to wait for next firmware to be available (to big to be customer friendly?).

Is there any patch or other solution to get the volume back to normal? (if not, my Nokia E70 will be sold in a couple of weeks time. Added to that - not being able to buy a decent PIM/calendar program makes me wonder what Nokia is doing)😡

Papyrus and AquaCalendar have been released for a while.

Yes, this happened to my E70 as well after upgrading the firmware, the volume is so low that it is difficult to hear e.g. when cycling or being aboard an airplane. Must be way below the EU recommendations. What is the fix?
