I have tried my N80-1 three times via Nokia Software Updater but it is saying Phone Update Failed would you like to try again.
can anyone tell me whts the problem.
and now when i disconect the cable it was off and now not starting up...?

u cud try a 3 key format, hold down green call key, number 3 key and the * key, keep holding them and at the same time hold the power key, keep them all held down untill phone asks for time etc, if this dnt work then u cud try a dead fone flash with phoenix but im not 100% if n80s software package allows dead fone flashing.

But that works or not for S60v3:con? Before S60v3, yes, but now, that still works? Some people say yes, others say don�t?

yeh the 3 key format works fine on my n80 pal, altho it didnt work on my n73

Guys. You could save a lot of money by using the search function. There's a thread here that's not even that old that describes exactly what to do to recover a dead phone.
I killed my phone using the code change and NSU program but phoenix managed to resurrect it.
