Phone reception problems on E61

Hi everybody,
I've been using my E61 for 4 months now and I noticed that the phone reception is not that good. With my E61 I have regulary no reception in my house. :dontknow: If I put my sim in another mobilephone it will always have at least 1 bar of reception! :bawling:
I talked with my provider about this (Dutch Telfort) and they tested and said that the reception outside my house is up to their standards and that they can't take any responsibily about the reception in the house. :thumpdown
For me I use my mobile for work purposes and when my E61 has no reception, I can miss work! 😡
What I want to know is what your experiences are on this reception subject.
Did any of you notice less reception with his/her E61? F.e. when you pick it up (from you pocket) and look at the screen that there is no reception and after a couple of seconds there is... :hmmmm:
Thanks for your input.

All other phones, when they are on stand-by after long time they are on "sleep" mode, without searching the network. So, it may appears without network coverage, when they have. So, time to time, force your phone to search the network, by, for example, call voice mail. Then it searchs the network, and the indication is more accurate then.

Hi nj7,
Thanks for replying. I tried different settings already on my phone (not searching for other networks f.e) but it all came down to one thing: From time to time I have no network reception. I know this because I later get a voicemail message that I missed a call. This happens a couple of times a day! 😞
Needles to say that it doesn't happen with the same simcard in another phone...

If is not a network failure, maybe is a phone failure. If it have 4 months, go to Nokia Service, on garantee.

That's what I thought: A phone failure. I was hoping to avoid bringing it back... :frown:
