did not get ne response in the other thread so started this new one........
bought my n80 3 weeks ago and upgraded the firmware last week.....have been having some display problems.... the screen flickers sometimes and becomes distorted.....like a negative.....n then becomes ok again......has any1 come across this issue with their phone....??
Noticed one more thing...this happens when i slide open or close.......hmmmmmm????

Seems more an hardware problem then a software problem. It happens after firmware upgrade, but I think that is only an unhappy coincidence.
hmm.....wat should i do.....get my phone checked at the nokia care centre?...

I had this happen after I had to have another lcd installed because I cracked my original, took it back to the repair center and they found that they didnt connect the screen to the phone correctly, so I would think you just have a poor connection,
My N80 had problems like this out of the box. Sometimes but only when ringing the display was garbled and colored in green. The service center was upgrading the software three times, but on the 4th time they replaced the LCD screen which solved my problem.
Researching the web, I found that this is common problem but everybody was mentioning FW upgrade.
I had this problem after a couple of months and brought it back and got a replacement screen all under waranty
thanks every1...so should i get my screen replaced or check for the loose connection.......?
