Stupid Question time. What with air travel being such a hassle these days I'm considering leaving the laptop at home on my next trip and running just with my N80.

There are more than a few Bluetooth keyboards out there but I'm wondering what would be the best solution for a stand or holder for the N80, so I can read from it when I'm typing?

Also, being new to this smartphone stuff what apps would you folks advise for on the go?

Thanks folks. 😊

Bluetooth keyborad - search for online reviews, because is a matter of personal taste. Software... is even more personal. Take a look on software section, and see the ones You could like most.

Used the Nokia bluetooth keyboard with my N80 on holiday this year. The keyboard has a built-in stand for the phone and worked fine, very happy with it for email and browsing via profimail and the built in browser.

One word of warning - data charges abroad (Egypt) were something like £30/Mb and the hotel Wifi didn't present a strong enough signal for the phone to use in most locations. A laptop may have been able to do more with the Wifi signal.

Thank you Bruce. I never factored in the WiFi aspect since typically I'm checking my email just down stairs from the base station. I'll check out the Nokia Keyboard.

I aggree, i was in mexico last summer and despite being 50mt away from the router in a open space, i had to walk my way back neat the reception bungalow to get decent reception. Used gmail, which took ages for mailing, but i guess with profimail you could download your messages, reply and send them back next time you walk past the router...

btw i ordered the keyboard as well, waiting for it. nokia website offers the best deal so far.
