Ive got all the nokia software instilled and i plug the n80 in and it makes the sound that xp does when you plug something usb in and it just comes up n80 phone parent and saying its found new hardware but thats all it does and i cant update my phone!!!!!!!!! please help

I had this problem when updating the firmware, Just uninstal the nokia software then re-instal it and it should be fine.
Also when you plug in the usb cable it should load lots of yellow pop up boxes and it takes a few mins for them all, just make sure you dont X out of them, let them load, it only happens the first time you plug in the phone.
