Hey folks, I am facing a very very frustrating situation here. Everytime after i save a word document for the e61, and i try to open it again later, there is a 50% chance it will fail to open, stating a "Invalid file format". When i transfer it to my PC, i have to use Word " Recover Text From Document" to save it.
Any idea how to resolve it? I would ask Nokia tech support, but they are comlpletely useless.
It is driving me nuts. I love my E61, but some missing features and glitches are driving me crazy.
Flash the last firmware on phone, and try again.
Thanks for the suggestion! You mean reinstall the firmware? I just installed it. 😞
Install the Nokia Software Updater tool on PC, and connect your phone, to see if it have the last firmware version inside. If not, the "NSU tool" install the last one. After that, You have a "new" phone. All personnal things inside are lost:icon4: Do a backup first.

i have precisiely the same problem, i have the latest firmware and I'm on my second e61 handset, any ideas please about how to resolve this irritating problem?
