Tomtom 6 adding favourites — Nokia N80 — All About Symbian Forum Archive

I'm trying to add a specific point on the map as a favourite. So I do this:

1) Browse Map
2) Options -> Find -> Address -> Postcode -> W104AA Kilburn Lane -> 9
3) Scroll right with the cursor to Peach Road
4) Use Cursor -> Add as favourite
5) Enter a name

It returns to the map, but nothing is there. Instead the new favourite has been added at 9 Kilburn Lane (the place I searched for, not the place I selected with the cursor).

This seems to be a bug, anyone know a workaround? Or am I doing something wrong?

I also noticed this but you can get it to work if you select:

options -> show information

after you have scrolled on to peach road. You then add the favourite as before

Thanks for that -- much easier!

I also found this workaround: instead of using Browse Map first, you choose Add Favourite -> Next -> Point On Map (but this is clumsier if you're already browsing the map).
