Hiya every1, i hav nokia6630 n i want to format MMC n phone both but dont wanna lose my txt msgs(all r at MMC), plz tell me anyway how can i save my msgs n format my handset fully.I tried its default software CD but dont know how to use that software for specific purpose.

Use A Card Reader To Read The Contents Of Mmc.copy All The Folders Including The Hidden Folders To Pc. After Formatting The Mmc Copy Back The System:/mail To The Same Location In Mmc.all Your Messages Will Be Back. (change The Message Memory To Mmc In Phone)

Here's the best solution:
1. Make a backup of your phone memory on the MMC.
2. Take a card reader and tranfer all the MMC content on a PC (copy everithing, including hidden files/folders such as System or Backup) into a specific folder.
3. Get the MMC back in the phone and format it.
4. Format the phone.
5. Put the MMC in the card reader again and copy the files/folders from the directory where you put them.
6. Get the MMC back in the phone and restore the backup.
This works perfect, I am using it to make some backups from time to time into folders like "MMC backup 22.11.2006". Give it a shot.
