Email & WLAN & Orange

I have an N80 on Orange updated to V4 firmware and a WLAN internet connection using an Orange Livebox. I have set up a POP mail account on the phone and have paired the phone with the Livebox. I can receive mail on the phone via WLAN but cannot seem to send mail from the account, it just gets "queued". If I change to a GPRS connection I can send from the mail account no problem, suggesting all the account settings are OK. Also, as well as receiving mail via WLAN I can also access the internet via WLAN no problems indicating that WLAN is set up correctly. I have tried several things to try and make the "send mail" work via WLAN but can't and have now run out of ideas!

Has anyone else had this problem and/or does anyone know what might be causing the problem?

from what iv read those orange live boxes are cr@p, maybe its a prob with the box? what email server do u use?

i'd heard that but have to say that I have found it easy to set up and use. I have thought it might be the Livebox but ruled that out on the basis I can access the web via it and the phone.

The outgoing server is the smptp.orange.net as it is for the orange GPRS that works fine.

smptp.orange.com??? that shud read smtp.orange.com, or did u just do a typo? change it and try again, if not id change mail addresses and try that way, www.bluebottle.com is ok and works with nokias email client
