N80 supports bluetooth stereo or A2DP?

Hi there,
Does N80 supports any bluetooth headset that can play music in stereo? My understanding is N80 doesn't really support A2DP. Has anyone managed to play stereo music via some bluetooth headset?

Any expert opinion?

No. N80 doesnt support A2DP. Only 8800 and the new music ones, like 5300 and others.

Are you sure?
N80 is listed as A2DP complient by Motorola's HT820 - which I have - and it do seems to play in stereo.

my n80 doesnt play in stereo with my HT820. I do not think its stereo as the sound quality is so much inferior compared to my W850i. definitely sounds mono on the n80. did you do any tweaking?

I'm using the v4 APAC firmware and i emailed NOkia who informed that there is no A2DP support for the N80. other region maybe?

Yes, Im sure. See the specification sheet of N80. A2DP only on 8800 and the new Music phones, like 5300 and others.

Ive read in a magazine that you get stereo support by installing a driver/application called MSI BluePlayer. You can download it from the MSI website. Search for Blueplayer for symbian S60 ver 3.

I've read the same thing, although the software only supports a2dp audio from the same app... Want to use the built in music player? :frown:

A2DP must be on ROM... is a bluetooth profile missing on N80. Installed with third party SW, I dont know:con?

There is a set of Bluetooth headphones I read about recently that allow A2DP profile on phones. They come with an adapter that plugs into the bottom of the phone to make them work in stereo. They are import only I think, just can't remember where I saw them or what they are called!

Anyone know, coz I'm definately getting them once I get some money!
