I have a few questions about the standby page and the e-mail client.
Is it possible to customise what is shown on the active standby page?
It would be nice to see how many messages there are, but I dont want it to show the content of my messages.
I only want it to show calendar entries from today - not any others in the future.
On the e-mail client, is it possible to get it to just download e-mails from the last few days rather than everything in the mailbox?
What about stopping it downloading message attachments?

Can I ask which email settings you entered? Because I find the settings for Gmail, I entered them in the phone but I'm still not receiving the mails on my phone.
What kin of email address do you use? Or what are your settings?
ichilton, yes there are settings by which you can customize the active standby page. Go to Menu=>Tools=>Settings=>Phone=>Standby mode. On this menu you can specify the two soft keys, the applications appearing on the active standby screen, and you can specify if you want your 2 most recent emails displayed (it only shows the sender, the subject and how many unread messages). I do not know of a way to specify what calendar entries are shown.
