Copy and Paste functionlity on E61

Greetings All,

I have bought a new E61.

Could any body please let me know how one does "Copy and Paste" operation using the E61 keypad.

I see the the ctrl+X seems to work. (I do ctrl+x and then a ctrl+v). But ctrl+c never seems to work. (I do ctrl+x and then a ctrl+v. I never seems to paste anything.)

I this a known issue or is something wrong with my phone?

Please help.

Where are you attempting to Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V from and to? I've found in some situations it doesn't fly, but in most, it should.

You cannot copy and past from within the Web browser (this is a known issue) or from within received email. However, if you reply to an email, then you can copy from it.

I can copy and paste in Opera Mini -- I can't, however, copy and paste from within contacts... very annoying.

does cut and paste work, then paste back immediately, and then paste where you *actually* need it - maybe a workaround? I find it very annoying it does not work globally too 😞
