E61 - USB Cable & Volume buttons

Greetings All,

I have a couple of queries:

1. The E61 USB cable I got seems to be really bad. I connect my phone to the computer and even if I shake it a little bit, it getrs disconnected. This does not seem to happen and things are fine when I use COmmunicator's USB cable. This is painful. The worst part is that once the phone gets disconnected or disturbed, it gets restarted automatically.

2. The volume buttons on the E61 phone seems to be a bit loose. Did anybody feel the same?

I have experienced the same problems. Nokia advised me to try the CA70 cable. The connection is more firm with this cable, although not optimal.

1. It happens and is related with pop-port and it�s connection very fragile...

yadhuna, you could try connecting via Bluetooth. I connect this way all the same and use the cable very seldom any more (just when updating the firmware). I like it better this war because as soon as I get close to my PC it connects without me having to do anything.
