Does anybody have Route 66 working on a Sendo X with uptodate firmware? I bought it secondhand from Ebay. To summarise:
- supplied MMC card not readable on my handset but OK with a card reader
- copied files onto a readable card, deleted prefs.ini and old regkey, sis file (v1.04) installed but app wouldn't run.
- the downloadable update (v1.04) installed and this time it started to run but crashed out with a kern-exec 3 error.

The Route 66 website does not list the Sendo-X as compatible, and yet it meets the specs (symbian 6.1, series 60 v1) and I found an old review somewhere online where it had been tested on a Sendo X; maybe this one had the old firmware?

Which firmware version do you have on your X? Is it 1.198.8.2?

The guys at Sendo used to use Route 66 on the X, so it definitely does work. I've never heard of any apps not working with newer firmwares on the X (apart from a small OggPlay problem ages ago) so think it's unlikely it's a firmware issue.

It may be worth re-flashing your X with the latest firmware - you can download it at the Sendo Smartphones website - http://www.sendosmartphones.com

Route66 Mobile 5 works on N-Gage, so I think at least that one works on Sendo X.
