sending SMS through PC software

Hi guys
I love my new M600i - I'm used to Nokia mobiles though - one of the things i liked best was the ability to send and read text messages on my PC (very handy for being in the office, and not look like i'm skiving by texting!)
That was a standard feature of the Nokia PC synch. I cant find any similar software for the sony ericsson phone - I use SE phone synch 1.2

Any help (as I'm sure this software is around somewhere) would be very gratefully received!!!

I found a couple but all cost about 50-100$ which i think is way to much.
I just need a app for sending sms like you 😞

Begining to hate this UIQ.

If you can configure your phone to show up as a modem, and you run Windows XP, then you can use Microsoft SMS Sender.

If you're programmer, you can also write a little app that uses, so called, AT commands to send SMS (that's what MS SMS Sender does).
