Help! My 64MB MMC started to fool around yesterday. The device cant seem to identify it anymore. Whenever I reboot it, this error message pops-up:

Reason number 3
Whenever this pops-up, my device cant read frm the MMC anymore. What does this mean? What do I have to do?
I tried putting in another MMC and it worked fine. Does this mean my MMC is busted? Can a MMC get busted that easily (w/ no apparent reason)?:evil:
I tried formating it, but since the device cant locate a MMC, the Memory Card function is not accessible.
Help! I didn't back up some of my files.

Where can you also suggest I can buy (just in case I need to) a new MMC (which is REALIBLE!) on the net? On-line and delivers internationally. Can you direct me to the link?

My MMC was corrupted (which in turn corrupted my phone so I had to have it reflashed and reformatted), so I'm getting a new one. A friend of mine is selling Twinview (i think that's the brand) 64MB MMC for 2K. Is that a good brand? Where did you buy yours?

I bought my in Shangrila Mall in Ortigas for P5000. Its expensive. If your friend is selling it for P2000, can you refer me to him/her? Coz that's really cheap compared from where I bought it. If you could tell me where to get Twinview.

i had this error before.. i tried to format my MMC from the PC (using the cable) then it crashed or something and cannot be read.
i went to Service center, they formatted it using USB MMC reader
it's ok now 8)
Just want to know if this MMC of mine is busted or something. Is there a way to fix it? Buying another MMC in my country is really expensive.
Btw. Just want to ask what are the BRANDS of MMC you guys are currently using? How reliable are they. Thanks.
ScanDisk. Comes with 5 years warranty
Have you tried cleaning the contacts on the MMC and 9210 (with alcohol)?
Haven't tried that yet, Patrick. Will try it. Im just so disappointed that this is already my 2nd busted ("fooling around"😉 MMC. :evil:
How can you Bust MMC? There is not warranty?
I dont know. It just suddenly couldnt be detected by the device. No apparent reason. Dont know how the hell it happened or what caused it.
I had that before,but after a re-boot it was ok... :-?

I bought transcend 128mb here in philippines it cost only 19$ and with 5 yrs warranty also!
