Manufacturing defect on N73? - it cracks

Has anyone encounter any problems with the plastic screen of N73? I purchased one 2 months ago but a crack showed up at 1 oclock position (somewhere around the right hand corner) 1 week afterwards. I took that to repair for 3 times but same results happened within 3days-1 week. Does anyone know what is the material of the plastic screen? I can see distorted images on the screen when I try to mirror it on any objects. Any reported problems on this manufacturing defect?

not experienced that so far.

All seems good. However, I would prefer a better wuality screen and the fascia seems a little plasticy for my liking.

Sorry couldnt help.

The build quality in general is pretty poor in the N73 (see Steve's review). However, I haven't heard of any actually cracking.

The front fascia is made of pretty thin plastic though and flexes a lot when not on the phone. The screen surrounds / supports can also cause it to twist, which is where the distorted images are coming from.

Might be worth taking to a decent service centre and get them to open it up in front of you. If you live in / near London (UK) I can recommend a service centre which will do this.
