my key pads lights sometimes they switch on sometimes they switch off and its two weeks old pliz help? is it software problem:con?

mine does the same thing, all n70's do it.. its all down to the light. they have the lil sensors in them to save battery life and only have the lights on when needed...

if its happening when its dark around you then i dont know.. but you can test it.. put your finger over the lil hole (on the left top of the phone) keypads should light up.. take your finger off (and your in a bright area - like outside) the keypad lights go out.... 😊

It just works great, I really like the sensor.
Ok it would be better if there was an option to put the sensor on or off but I'm really satisfied with it
It works like it shoudl work! And indeed, it saves the battery maybe that little extra more 😊

There's nothing wrong with your phone, keypad light is switched on when ambient light is low.

about those keypad lights...i dont like the blueness of them, is there a program that can make them another colour...red maybe?

Nope. This implies a hardware change. You can change their colour only by replacing them with some other colour LEDs.

Well, you buy first 8 SMD LEDs (that is Surface Mount Device Light Emitting Diode), you unsolder the ones that are already on your phone's mainboard and you solder the newer ones. Is quite easy if you worked with a soldering iron before. All you need is a still hand, soldering iron, solder, the LEDs and tweezers.
