N93:DVD-like quality 15,4'' fulls screen playback)? — Nokia N92, N93 and Nokia N93i

I have the N93 about 3 weeks now and I already dropped the phone twice unfortunately.

The phone seems fine, however, I am now testing the video camera recorded a clip of 1 minute and played the clip in small screen size on pc which is ok.

But when I blow up to full screen the images so blocky its unbelievable, with that wuality I cannot believe Nokia would dare to market their product with words like DVD like quality video ...

I now wonder if the bad video is due to the fact I dropped the phone twice....

Can anyone pls give me some feedback on the quality of your N93 movies?

I am sure I recorded in the highest 30 fps mode by the way....

One final thing to note when I do not zoom in the video seems fine but when I zoom in the blocky picture starts. I guess that's normal?

It is normal, when you get into the digital zoom range.

Yes, on ANY digital camera/smartphone, NEVER zoom beyond the range of optical zoom, otherwise you're literally throwing away picture information. So stick to the 3x optical zoom.

Dropping it won't have helped though 8-(
