i have problem with serious bug, for some reason when you want to open browser in phone, you see web: already in use ! this bug is on n80, e61 and n73 phones. i think that browser is creating a "i'm busy" flag file, then clearing it when the thing it wanted to do was complete. Aborting the browser stops the file clearing or something like that. does somebody have some solution for that problem ?

bdw. i don't want like many others hard reset my phone, or wait for new firmware download (i have latest firmware) or use opera. i want to use web browser from nokia 😃

Maybe you have to wait till N95 is released, and buy a new phone then... Apparently there will not be released any upgrades to the N80 browser, since they have started building a new version that is released on N95.
I recomend trying Opera - why dont you? I agree, the fact that is it not free is a drawback, but then again you did pay for the current N80 browser. Not directly, but you dont think the developement of the S60 browser is done for free, do you (like IE is developed "for free"😉?.

i am planning to buy new n95, but this is not solution because this browser problem is not only big problem on n80. try use google and you may see how many users have same problem with bug on different models with Sv3. i think that problem is not in the browser, problem is bug in symbian os. maybe we need some tool like task manager in win xp 😊 but with possib. to kill system proces. taskman from smartphone ware can't kill sys proc. 😞

i pay for my phone ! and i want use phone's browser, opera isn't that good !
i don' wan't hard reset my phone, i want firmware upgrade or some patch like sms acc, or possibility to reinstall phones browser (very easy solution if nokia want to do that) or maybe somebody have 3rd solution :icon14:

You can fix it temporarily by getting a more advanced task manager and closing the HTMLview process... Well, it works for me
well i'm not good in english, can you explain me better. what is the name of that advanced taks manager (we talking about S60v3 - phone models n80, n73, e61 etc.) and i don't see what html process is open. maybe you can write it name of that process, thank you !
