When are the Memory Stick DUO 128mb arriving in stores?

This is an article about a new memory stick format; memory stick pro, and not memory stick duo.

Yes, but since you said "at least 128mb" this article is to show that probably capacities bigger than 128mb will show up in this new (yet another Sony fragmentation step MS, MS-MG, MS-Duo, now MS-Pro) PRO format wich most probably the P800 will not take.

The only thing that made me *swallow* the proprietary MS-Duo card of the P800 is the tought that trough BlueTooth I could always get some degree of off-the-air information portability between devices.
This latest Sony's MS-Pro stunt only stressed to me how important it will be to guarantee that the P800 will be able in fact to change files BT-wirelessly. I have put my P800 buying intentions on hold until confirmation that BT firmware works as advertised.

I talked to the swedish Sony Ericsson suport yesterday and they said that 16 MB and 32 MB sticks will be released in the first quater in 2003. More than that he didn't know for sure. According to that, the info from DmX could be completely true.
But remeber that it could take a while for the sticks to reach Sweden.

Wrong size. That's a regular memory stick.

You need a Memory Stick Duo, about half the size of the normal one.

Why sellers don't write clarely if a memory stick is DUO or PRO or some other kind ???
Well, if I understand well, Memory Stick Duo 128 MB were released in April 2003 ?
