No address unless phone # present

Just discovered a strange bug, maybe others have already noticed this.

I was at the post office yesterday looking for an address on my E61, but only the contact name and email was in my device even though I knew I had recently updated it with complete address info (the contact entry had no phone number). Outlook showed the address, yet even after re-syncing the address refused to show up on the phone. It was only AFTER adding a phone number to the contact that the address info also appeared.

Running firmware 1.06 since I have yet to succeed in updating to 2.06 ("No updates are available for your phone"😉

i had this with a new contact, the e61 marks them as private so they dont show up on the synch, you need to mark the contact as public and resynch it, a firmware upgrade is a must though m8.

I'd be all over the firmware update if I could get it. I'm running a UK phone on an unsupported Canadian carrier, but I also have a supported swiss GSM chip and the phone still refuses to update. Many people have the same problem, no idea why.

No, I'm in Canada where the phone is unsupported. Hopefully one of these days they'll come up with an update for my production batch #. Frankly I have no real issues with the current firmware; occasional crashes but nothing too bothersome!
