Did Orange deliberately hold back on updates of Firmware on the N73 ?
I just checked my fone which I received only yesterday and its at version 2.0628.0.0.3 27/7/2006
If I updated to latest firmware does that also unbrand my fone, or is that a different process?
Im a newbie to nokia symbian mobiles so I might be asking some stupid questions sorry !

By upgrading the firmware it does loose all orange branding ie the sidebar that contains shortcuts. I upgraded mine and the phone is now working so much better/faster plus I did not get on with that orange menu!
You will have to change the product code first. Lots of info on this forum regarding doing all that.
will there ever be an official Orange upgrade ?
