Hi. I'm wondering how long I can have my e62 hooked up to my laptop via USB for use as an external drive before the battery goes out. I'm guessing the USB doesn't charge the phone. Right now, just to be safe, I also have my phone plugged in, so it's charging.
Thanks. This is my first post.

seems like you should just buy reader for 20bucks or so from sandisk or use bluetooth connectivity to transfer from betwee phone and laptop. whatever you do with your phone will eat up your battery anyway and also bluetooth are the same way. you can disable bluetooth so if you are not using headset, then do manually.
and nokia do not charge the phone via usb.. which kinda sxxks because my blackberry phone charged over usb.
Thanks. Yeah, I've got the card reader, but since I'm also using the Nokia PC Sync on occasion... well, you know, it gets complicated fast. I guess I'll just leave the phone charging when I'm also using the USB access.
I'm Mac user and works great over bluetooth for all my sync and file. For PC I guess you would need PC suite back and for th but I think if you have bluetooth should you transfer it. Unless you need some huge file then USB cable will the choice.
I have been using bluetooth on and descent usage per day last me 3days tops.. 1500mAh battery does seems to work good for this LCD screen to be running. I can't complaing on quality of LCD screen.
Good side, E62 has standard ubs connection not like other nokia phone you have to have special one.. stinks when you forget that cable but what is the change you have usb cable that works with other stuff.. 😉
