E62 - Change Screensaver

I have E62 myself.. haven't find that anywhere on the phone settings.. wonder there is some third software that can tweak more..

I have an E61 but i guess that the E62 works in the same way as far as screensaver is concerned. The default screensaver on the E61 is just a basic screen showing the time and icons lettings you know if you've had missed calls, new messages... There is no other screensaver installed by default.

Handy Clock and Handy Weather are two commercial program that happen to come with their own screensavers. If you have either one of these software installed, you can choose to activate their screensaver in place of the default one by going to the phone menu then Tools -> Themes -> select your current theme and choose Options -> Edit. You can then choose your screensaver in the Power Saver section (note that you need to restart your phone after having installed the Handy software for the new screensaver to show up there). The Handy screensavers feature a bigger clock and a calendar for the Handy Clock screensaver or the weather for the next 2 days for Handy Weather.

As far as i know, it's difficult to develop third party screensavers for S60 3rd edition devices such as the E-series phones because of the new Platform Security framework so it's unlikely you'll find many of those.
