is there a known fault with this or is my phone well and trully dead, Please help as i paid allot of money for this phone and yes i like it.

Thanks

your phone is what is knowen as 'bricked' you have a couple of options:

1) warrenty -either through your service provider or to a nokia service centre (it explains on the updater that it is free if your phone is still under waranty)
2)sort it out your self with pheonix (but we dont talk about that here)

Mine done that 😡 and i thought all was hopeless. I used the phoenix software and updated the phone that way. When the error says "phone cannot be found" or something along those lines just click continue anyway. The firmware shall continue to update and you phone will be fine again...
