Hi Dean,

You need to define a new access point on your phone that refers to your home wifi network. There are 2 ways to achieve this:

1.) Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points > Options > New access point > Use default settings

You then need to fill in the relevant fields, e.g.
Data bearer = Wireless LAN
WLAN security mode = WEP
WLAN security setting opens a sub menu where you can store your WEP key.

2.) Menu > Connect. > Conn. mgr. > Availab. WLAN > highlight your home wifi network from the scan list > Define access point

Method 2 will autofill a lot of the settings for you under the new access point menu, however, you'll still need to enter your WEP key settings under the WLAN security setting option.

S.

Settings > Connection > Access Points > LAN (whatever yours is called) > WLAN security sett. > WEP key settings > WEP key

What could be simpler? Apart from everything.

answer: download the wlan wizzard from nokias website: makes it so much easter and quicker, still best to know the other way tho incase you ever need to tweek things.
