Does your N-Gage Lag a bit??,:con?
here are some Tips which may help you:

1. Go to communications Log and change the settings to no log or 1 day.
2. Go to messaging and settings and scroll to other, there try to minimize save sent messages to 20 or no save messages at all.
3. When "app. close main error" displays at your screen, sometimes the
N-gage Lags a bit, or displays the warning everytime, unless you reboot it.
Here we describe how to fix the app close main error, without fully formatting your phone.

> Run Fexplorer (link todownload program for Free: http://www.gosymbian.com/FE_download.html)
> GOTO C:\system\bootdata
> DELETE: FirstBoot.dat
> Turn off the phone AND TAKE OUT THE MMC!!!
> Switch on phone (if you do everything right you will probably need to type in the time and date)
> must Switch off phone again
> Put in MMC back
> Switch the phone ON again and.... voila!!

NO MORE ERROR ...😊

4. There is a third application software named overclock.
It can make your game deck faster...:icon2: BUT there is a risk,
:icon4: (PRECAUTION: I am not liable for any damage, error, etc. done to your phone, download and Use it to your own risk)
This is only available For the N-Gage classic deck

Some Tips to save memory and avoid W.S.O.D(White Screen of Death)

1. When you have deleted a game, make sure to delete its file in the Game Manager or in the Phone's memory...

Go to C:'\Sysytem\Apps and delete the Folder of the game to make sure
it is totally deleted from your phone.

2. The 1.5mb rule is really good 😊 ., Make sure Your phone's memory has not gone down to 1.5mb, because most of the WSOD related problems occurs when the Phone's memory is maxed out.

3. Never open too many programs, for example... most N-gage with least updated firmware like V 3point something below, cant handle all programs opened at once.:frown:
(to know your N-Gage's version type in *#0000# on the neutral screen)

This is just simple Tips for New N-gage users...Well, any one of you who has other tricks or Tips please post it in this thread to help other N-gage users, Thanks!!!:icon14:
