Nicely done and very interesting. Though there is one frame in there where I'm left wondering what it is you're trying to say 😉
I've put a photo here -> http://web.mac.com/rcopeh/iWeb/RCopeh/My%20Blog/B84AB61D-F943-4DE2-94BD-01470428FACC.html
I hope that's not a breach of copyright or anything 😊
I agree that the M600 is easier to use than the P990.
Also:
- I find the predictive text very helpful
- if you delete the games you seem to end-up with 19MB of RAM at start-up
- the M600 suffers less from memory leaks and is also very quick, but the W950 is quicker
Tanker - thanks for the promotion.
Anything like that is fair use (though whether Steve would agree is another matter)...
I'm just gratified that anyone cared enough about my video output to bother poring over the individual frames 8-)

If I were you Steve, I'd be afraid. VERY afraid.
!!!STALKER!!!
😊 😊 😊
Well, it was a rather good video. What software did you use to put the video together?
As for stalking, not at all and I don't know anything about why your dustbins were knocked over last night...... ahem! Honest 😉
(here's hoping that the rather feeble attempt at comedy has not been ruined by your dustbins having been knocked over last night)
It was filmed on my Nokia N93 and edited in VideoStudio 10 Plus - which alas has issues with the N93's frame rate and explains why the end product is all in 15fps 8-(
Still, I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out..... A tweaked version will probably go in the next Smartphones Show, along with some other stuff I er..... haven't thought of yet....!

Hi Steve,
Nice job! Just a quick correction: the Vijay Singh Pro Golf 3D game on the Sony Ericsson M600 is not a Java game but a native game using the cross-platform API OpenGL ES. A golf game is perhaps not the best type of game to show off the heavy graphics and speed that can be achieved thanks to the hardware acceleration 3D chip that's on the phone, but it's ideal for the target audience(business users) of the M600 messaging device so that's why it was decided to embed it on the phone.
For the readers of this post, more info on OpenGL ES development can be found here:

Hi Mimmis,
Ah, so not Java then. But it's still slow and clunky, and a terrible, terrible game in its own right. You should have called it 'OpenGL golf demo' 8-)
