hey guys, i did some searching here on to connection using usb but didnt any answers.

Im having trouble getting to work on my pc, its says modem connected but when i try open internet on my phone, it connect via wap.

what do i need to do?

thanks

The PC Suite connectivity via an USB cable does not allow you to connect to the Internet through your PC.

Only on Eseries phones (E50, E60, E61, E62, E70) and Communicators (9300, 9300i, 9500) is there an "IP passthrough" feature for this (requires Nokia Network Bridge software on the PC).

With some older phones it is also possible to use gnubox (I don't know if it only works via Bluetooth, or also the USB cable).

hi there, i got N70 nokia, errm could you explain me whats; Communicators (9300, 9300i, 9500)??

and can i get that: Nokia Network Bridge software on the PC software anywhere?

thank you.

For N70 the only way is with Gnubox, if You are lucky. I try, and was not able to do that.

hey guys, been so busy with other things such as work heh,

hmm i looked at that Nokia Network Bridge soft and how i understood i need a PCI card for that too. I believed that connect nokia wouldn't be so hard and i dont need to spend extra .

What is it when you go to: CONNECTIVITY>DEV. MGR.> and it asks you to st-up a new profile with server settings and stuff?

Thanks
