Hello all!
I thought i should register here since i recently bough a p990i smartphone.
The phone works fine and i am rather happy with it...however, i often abuse the little styluspens...and recently i damaged the plastic tip of one of them so that when withdrewn from the device, the plastic tip stayed inside.
And on top of that, a less clever friend of mine pushed the backup pen down in an attempt to remove it, resulting in jamming the broken tip inside the phone, aswell as jamming the sliding "keypadlock" button.
I guess i could go to the store and get them to dismantle it and solve the problem. But since I am rather aquantied with electronics equipment (have been working with setting upp rack-servers etc.)
i thought i'll do it myself.
Questions are?
Which TORXsize is suitable for dismantling the phone? (i guess T06)
Is the removal of the two Philipsscrews for the keypad aswell as the 4 TORX screws beneath the battery sufficient in order to dismantle the phone or is there any other "hidden" screws?
What are the odds that the sliding key is permanently disabled? (given that no force has been used)
Is there any warranty void if i open the phone myself, and in that case. Is there any way for SE to verify if i have dismantled it or not should i have any future warranty issues?
Thank you very much for any assistance!
Best regards!
J.F.

Forgive my rather rusty english, I am from Sweden and have not been using english in written for a while. On top of that, this was written in a hurry.
