I'm just wondering if this kind or error is OS related or a known problem. I already reformatted my 6600 thrice but the phone shuts down gradually. The screen fades then the phone goes Off. It will take me hours to boot it up again. I already tried another battery to no effect.

Yep, it looks like a HW issue. I'm afraid there's no other option but to take it to a service.

If it is a hardware prob, do you have any estimated price of how much will it going to cost me? I can ask those cellphone repair stations, but I can't simply trust them. I don't know ifthey'll just going to overpriced it or not so I'd rather ask you guys. thnx 😊
It depends on what's broken in it, but I don't know what: EEPROM, processor etc. Ask how much it costs to do a check/repair and then go to the one you trust the most.
