Would it be possible?

HI.

Would it be possible to change the bluetooth components in the N7650 and put a bluetooth comonents from a N3650?

You are talking about hardware modifications here,i'm no hardware guru but my guess is no because we have had similar discussion about switching the memory chip with a higher capacity one.

If you want bluetooth audio profile then just use the Motorola bluetooth headset... They work great, ive used one and its so much easier than wires around the place!

I think he wanted bluetooth audio with the 7650,which is not doable for know.

Im puzzeled at the two replies.... How do you mean it doesnt work? and Yes the Motorola does work with the 7650 [Just thought no one used it due to looks, not the Avril Lavinge of bluetooth headsets maybe]

Umm...Ghost dog.. i was'nt excited (i dont think me will buy BT headset anyway )..but rather... shocked ..more than surprised that some one ever got it working. It sure would send many here in a tizzy.

USED it yes [Or wud have taken photo for u and posted it] Yeah it works... The SE one DOESNT work but the ugly little Motorola Bluetooth headset works nicley - any way the slightly uglyer Nokia one will be out soon [Are SE the only ones that make nice bluetooth headsets?! :-? ]

does it work on the standard Headset profile?

how the heck would it even work if i assume nokia wouldn have put any software support knowing there is no hardware support for audio?

Well u just link up like any other bluetooth phone and headset and ... well... use it... Im VERY shocked at peoples shock! Nip into your local shop and giv it a try!

Zipper, you dont realize what u have just let out. A BT headset... ANY headset was what ppl were looking for, and there was an endless discussion on the BT audio capabilites of 7650. I think they will build a statue of you here 😃

Well ... Im glad to be of service! Happy bluetooth talking to you all! I'll try and get model number of the motorola Bluetooth headset i used for ya... But i think that link shows the one [I still want an SE one as they look nice - unlike all the others]

Well ... Im... still.... in shock... no one... well... had ever used it.... It was showen to me in the Vodafone shop when i purchased my 7650

Was aware that thread existed - thought it ended up in mutual acceptance that it cudnt be done... plus its six darn pages long, most of which is typical "Hows your cat", "its fine", "The kids are ill" type of chit chat
