Default Folder

OK, there an app in Control Panel called Default Folder, it's used to tell the 9210 where you want you documents stored as a default, why is it then than 99% of the apps for the 9210, when you browse to load/save a document still start you of in Device/Documents even if you have changed this to be MMC/Documents (or whatever). Is it because developers;

a) Didn't know it was there
b) Don't know how to use it
c) Don't want to use it
d) Can't be bothered using it
e) Hate us all for bothering them
f) Are too busy playing Bounce

or is it just me?

Yes it is just you, and they're all out to get you.

I suspect its a lack of knowledge on the developers part along with bot bothering so if you are listening developers remember the preferences folder!

Or possibility a default folder option in each app? How much easier would that make life if when you ran video player it automatically looked in MMC/Documents/Videos? No more hunting for damn files. SORT IT OUT!!!!!

Hi all,

Patrick is right. what is the use of this app if the developers want to use their own defaults?
