Just a quicky, does anyone know why you can edit the Euro with this great app? I had to create a new currency called eur1 because of this.

Apologies if this has been convered before but i could not find find a post about it.

I do not get it? What did you mean?

I did not found a way to add a new currency.

But you can try also other Currency Converters 😉

I think that the reason u can edit the Euro is because there is a feature that allows you to select the base currency. Thus, if you wanted your base currency to be US$, you would need to be able to edit the Euro. Therefore, they have simply made all currencies editable. In practice, I have found it is better to select euro as the base. Then, you never have to changether rates for DM, FF, etc.

To create a new currency, select
- File
- new currency

Ahhh, excellent thank you TomaHawk, yes instead of British Pounds it has declared the Euro as my base currency. Tsk why didnt i think of that, it never even occured to me 😮ops:
