Hi all, Got N73 on contract from Vodafone, new copy of tomtom 6 western europe and 2gb sd... all installed ok but bluetooth connection keeps dropping. I have read that changing product code and updating to V3 will sort it out but am unsure about what code and weather my vodafone sim will still work????

Hi,

I bought an N73 last week on an Orange contract (means I get my DSL for 5) and within 24 hours I had changed the product code and updated to the N73 Music Edition firmware (3.0638.0.0.30 - MUSIC EDITION 30-10-2006 RM-133). Everything works great (including Bluetooth) plus it has a much improved Music Player and the bonus is that it gets rid of the crappy Orange branded shite !

HTH 😊

put code in, went to update then for some reason says N73 disconnected after it starts search... ???
is that surposed to happen???

Where is it saying it is disconnected ? If it says it in PC Suite, then yes, that's supposed to happen. If it says it in NSU, then no, that is not supposed to happen.

New os installed..... looking good.. only thing after putting backup on can't go to settings!!! if they are as i set them in backup everything is ok... Cheers for the help:icon14: :icon14: 😊
